LIGHTNING & SUN BEAMS

I adore the ever changing landscape surrounding me at home and recently one of my favourite trees was struck by lightning.  The ancient giant came crashing to the ground and turned ice white with a coal centre.  Simply extraordinary.  Today it glistened in the Winter sunshine and was just asking to be shot.  

This coat was a great reminder to me to always mix the High St with my more classic designer pieces.  Teddy bear soft and a great oversized cut this sugar pink beauty cost just £20 from Primark.  I know, what a bargain!  I'm wearing it here with a Topshop cami and waxed jeans and a pair of Alexander Wang mules.  The coat is in store now and comes in several colours including Black and a pale dove grey.

WEAR IT THE WANG WAY

I just cant get enough of these Alexander Wang grey suede mules. I picked them up a few years ago and they mainly sat on a shelf looking pretty until this summer when I have worn them to death.  I am actually afraid to wear them too much for fear of killing them.  The mirror heel and high cut make them perfect with everything from boyfriend jeans to a little black dress.  There are so many great mules around at the moment.  Check out my favourites below.
