My angle, your angle.

Swiss label Berenik is my new fashion crush.  Angular shapes and different textures create exquisite wardrobe staples that will go on for ever.  The brand does effortlessly cool with no trouble at all.  I love these high waisted suede look shorts!!  Pair them with black tights, chunky black boots and an oversized grey v neck knit for the perfect autumn look.  Next spring wear with a pastel pink knit and bare legs.  Shop Berenik at online store cityblis - www.cityblis.com.  Love xx

Softly softly

For me, winter make up is simple, soft, and about looking after your skin.  I wanted to show you a few of my essentials for this time of year.  I very much have two skincare seasons, may to september is light and fresh and october to april is rich yet delicate.  I cant get enough of Japanese brand DHC and their Q10 foundation is natural and lightweight, but still with enough coverage to take care of those winter blemishes.  I use NO 02 and keep my skin pale in winter.

recent favourite is & Other Stories eye colour palette in 'Plush Earth' which is the most beautiful collection of nudes, bronzes and burnt reds.  It goes on smoothly and blends well.  £12 for the palette means it is well worth a go.

Another great winter product and a sort of vaseline upgrade is M&S pure baby wonder balm which i use as a lip balm and on any dry areas of skin.  Its also great to brush through eyebrows to get the cara-factor.  So many uses and at just £6.  Enjoy xx

Warm my heart and my soul

These cold mornings call for something healthy and warming so of course I turn to porridge.  The key is to cook it slowly,  a good 4/5 minutes.  And then the topping! Stiring in vanilla seads from a dried vanilla pod and topping with honey, pumpkin seads snd sesame seads is a real winner. Perfect xx

Magic

I am completely loving Mark Hill's haircare products at the moment and have quite a few on the go.  One of my favourites during this wet, windy, winter weather is little tube of Magic Drops.  A rescue and repair treatment that makes dry hair smooth and shiny, you just add a drop or two to dry or damp hair through mid lengths and ends where the hair needs it most.  No need to wash out, and it doesn't make hair greasy. Fabulous product!  And at just £6.49 its worth every penny - and looks as pretty as candy on the shelf xx

End of October

October is nearly over and suddenly summer is long gone.  The plus side of this stormy winter weather is of course the new wardrobe.  A lot of careful planning goes into this.  Winter fashion is my favourite with a mix of elegant and androgynous  items.  Pink is the colour of choice this year which works perfectly with the classic greys and blacks already stashed away.  Invest in your oversized coat and biker boots to keep them looking perfect and not worn out by January.  I will still be clashing prints too - I love this French Connection clutch for this.  My latest shopping addiction is  the beautiful Cruise site (cruisefashion.co.uk) stocked full of luxury and mid range brands including Pinko, Jimmy Choo and French Connection - check it out xx

Don't tug at me any more

I am a convert.  Yes, a little slow on this one and many of you are probably grooming daily with a Tangle Teezer of some description.  For those of you who haven't yet purchased one of these hedgehog shaped hairbrushes I would highly recommend one.  On either wet or dry hair this brush easily detangles without any breakage, so over time helps to repair and restore your hair.  A brilliant product that will continue to be one of my daily essentials xx

Hello Autumn

Well it is definitely coat weather now.  Last week the temperature dropped 10 degrees and brr that makes a difference.  I may even have to forget the bare legs soon.  Here are a few snaps of my simple weekend look in a long navy and black coat and a navy and black shift dress with peter pan collar.  xx

Shine baby shine

I am currently obsessed with luxury haircare.  Skincare is huge and everyone is aware of having a skin routine, yet haircare remains a bit of a mystery.  I was recently invited along to the launch of Flavien Abbas range, 'Touche'.  We gathered in Cafe 21 in Fenwick on Bond St which is well worth a visit just for the afternoon tea.  Flavien talked us through his range of Shampoos, Conditioners and treatments whilst we sipped fizz and devoured scones. The range is as natural as it gets, using the sort-after Prickly Pair oil known for its high moisture and vitamin E content.  Jasmine is used to fragrance the range making it smell more like a perfume than haircare.

My favourite product in the range is the Prickly Pear scalp tonic which repairs your hair using Argan Oil and gives it a wonderful shine. At only £15 a bottle it is well worth a go.

Flavien's range is available at both Fenwick and Harrods as well as www.touchebyflavien.com. A great range and a lovely evening. xx
