CLEAR MY VIEW

This year Easter Sunday also happened to be my birthday so as well as indulging in chocolate eggs I celebrated with Champagne and presents.  A dear friend sent me one of my favourite boxes ever to unwrap - a clear, studded build-your-own bag by DIY fashion blogger 'a pair and a spare'.

What a brilliant present to receive!  The clear pre-cut mesh, gold studs, tools and leather strap all come beautifully boxed up with easy instructions on how to construct.  What better to do on a birthday morning (or any other day of the year) than sit childlike on the floor constructing yourself a new handbag?

The bag is great quality and and takes around 30 minutes from start to finish to construct.  The best thing about a clear bag is that you can change the look and feel so easily by adding in colourful purses and accessories.  I can't wait to show you photos of what i popped inside.

The weather may be miserable and I may have returned to opaque tights but one thing you can wear is a gorgeous summer bag.  This little Kate Spade tote made its way into my life last week and not a minute too soon.  Forecast for this week... grey, grey, grey - with a hint of tropical orange.

Mondays

 

However fabulous your job, Mondays are always a struggle.  It is generally enough trouble at the beginning of the week to get to the office fully dressed and with a coffee the size of your head in your hand.  Mondays are casual days. This week Monday was sunny yet fresh.  The perfect comfort outfit consisted of my H and M super soft boy fit jeans, Topshop boots and my Burberry fur Parker.  I could almost pretend I was wearing pyjamas on the way to work! Xx
