CLEAR MY VIEW

This year Easter Sunday also happened to be my birthday so as well as indulging in chocolate eggs I celebrated with Champagne and presents.  A dear friend sent me one of my favourite boxes ever to unwrap - a clear, studded build-your-own bag by DIY fashion blogger 'a pair and a spare'.

What a brilliant present to receive!  The clear pre-cut mesh, gold studs, tools and leather strap all come beautifully boxed up with easy instructions on how to construct.  What better to do on a birthday morning (or any other day of the year) than sit childlike on the floor constructing yourself a new handbag?

The bag is great quality and and takes around 30 minutes from start to finish to construct.  The best thing about a clear bag is that you can change the look and feel so easily by adding in colourful purses and accessories.  I can't wait to show you photos of what i popped inside.

KEEP IT CLEAN

Above - Chloe

Above - Zara

What an imposible decision.  The stunning Chloe wedge that bought me to tears last year after selling out. Or the Zara pretty suede version at the budget price of under £50.  Thoughts?  This is a heart verses mind situation.

BRIGHTS

Spring's warmer days are here and my wardrobe needs a few alterations.  Firstly I've ditched the thick coats (joy) and then added a few touches of colour to my every day mono.  These Adidas Superstar Supercolour's are the perfect bright update but get them quickly as they are flying off the shelves.

THE RACHEL BACKPACK

Atterley Road is one of my favourite online stores, always filled with beautiful modern pieces with a lot of lust factor.  From denim shirts to tailored trousers and stocking brands Y.A.S, French Connection and their own line, there is aways a great selection of wardrobe updates.  This well named white 'Rachel Backpack' is in their Mid-Season Sale for just £23.00.  Far better than an easter egg if you ask me!

ERBORIAN PERFECTION

The best thing about a lazy Saturday morning is having the chance to try out scrummy beauty products in bed whist sipping fresh coffee and reading beautiful magazines.  These Erborian treats were top of my experimentation list so I was thrilled to have some time with them.

To be honest the CC Cream has been tried before.  When I was given this at a beautiful Erborian event in London I used the CC Cream the next day and I have been addicted to it since then.  This is a perfect primer or great on its own.  It's a white cream that when rubbed into the skin turns to a flesh colour and smooths on perfectly blurring imperfections and leaving a lovely light coverage.  For weekends this is where I stop, however during the week when I want more coverage I then apply my liquid foundation on top.  This then stays put all day.  I cannot imagine not owning this product now.  It's an absolute essential in my make-up bag.

So I was really just trying the Sleeping BB Mask (which I had applied the evening before) and the Herbal Energy Cleanser.  The mask is like having a day is a spa and super simple.  Just apply a thin layer of this product that feels like a moisturiser before going to sleep.  In the morning your face will feel baby soft and energised.  Wash off (although you can't tell their is anything left on unlike other masks) and you are good to go.

The Herbal Energy Cleanser is a delight to use and gently removed the thickest make-up and most stubborn mascara with just a wipe clean.  It leaves skin feeling soft and hydrated.  A must try for an easy life.
